League Information

Join the USPML for the first season of our Pro League at Sparrow's Nest!  Test your skill and see if you can rise to the top.  The USPML league is for players looking to prepare themselves for tournaments and high-level competition.  Players looking for a more casual/social experience should check out our Initiate League! Our first Alpha Season will help us tune the league structure and build up our base for future expansion.

The Alpha Season will have eight sessions:

• Saturday, February 17, 11:00AM - 3PM
• Saturday, March 2, 11:00AM - 4PM
• Saturday, March 16, 11:00AM - 4PM
• Sunday, March 31, 11:00AM - 4PM
• Saturday, April 13, 11:00AM - 4PM
• Saturday, April 27, 11:00AM - 4PM
• Saturday, May 11, 11:00AM - 4PM
• Saturday, May 25, 11:00AM - 4PM

Players do not have to be present at every session - as long as a player can attend at least 3 sessions they will be able to post a streak for their league results.  After the league session has ended, participants may stay for free play at Sparrow's Nest for the remainder of the day.

The league will be run on World Riichi Championship rules with the following modifications:

• Reduced penalties
• Red 5s allowed

League score will be the players best contiguous streak of 9 games.

Prizes and Rewards

We are actively looking to expand our prize offerings and grow partnerships and exposure for our players as we grow the league and move from Alpha to full-fledged seasons.  Additional rewards may be made available in the future.

Top Player
